What is the Maple Ridge Christmas Craft Fair?

The Maple Ridge Christmas Craft Fair is an annual Christmas holiday event that brings together local artisans and the community for a festive day of shopping, family fun, and holiday spirit.


It provides the opportunity to benefit from the creativity and craftsmanship of local artisans while offering a unique shopping experience for the whole family.

Now in its 4th year, our craft fair has become a much-loved tradition for families in Maple Ridge, Pitt Meadows, and neighboring cities.


Our event is dedicated to supporting local artisans, giving you the chance to find one-of-a-kind, handcrafted gifts that you won’t find anywhere else. From stunning jewelry and cozy knitted items to delicious homemade chocolates and beautiful home decor, there’s something for everyone.

How can I become a vendor at the craft fair?

We welcome applications from local artisans who create handcrafted products. If you’re interested in becoming a vendor for future events, please visit our Vendors Page for more details and to apply.

What kind of products are eligible for sale at the craft fair?

We accept vendors who offer handmade products, including but not limited to:

(8) Food items such as sauces, chocolates, and spices

All products must be handmade, and we curate local artisans to ensure a high-quality and unique shopping experience for visitors.

I’ve never sold at a craft fair before. Can I still apply to be a vendor?

Absolutely! We welcome both seasoned artisans and newcomers. As long as your products are handmade and meet our quality standards, you’re encouraged to apply.

What is the vendor application process like?

The vendor application process includes submitting an online form with details about your business and the products you intend to sell. Our team will review all applications and get back to you regarding your participation. Please visit the Vendors Page to learn more or apply here.

 Is there a fee to be a vendor?

Yes, there is a small vendor fee that helps cover the costs of renting tables, etc and running the event. The fee varies depending on your booth. Detailed information about fees is available on our Vendors Page.

Will vendors have access to electricity at the event?

We do not provide electricity for vendors.

Do I need to pre-register to attend the fair?

While pre-registration is not required to attend, we encourage you to pre-register online because you will be automatically entered into our contest to win amazing prizes! Pre-registering also helps us keep you informed about any updates or special announcements.

Is the craft fair family-friendly?

Yes! The craft fair is designed to be a fun, family-friendly event. In addition to shopping, we offer free performances of the North Pole Express Christmas show, as well as free hot chocolate and cookies to make it a festive experience for all ages.

Will there be food and drinks available?

Yes! Visitors can enjoy free hot chocolate and cookies after The North Pole Express Christmas show. Some vendors may also offer delicious treats like chocolates and baked goods for sale.

What entertainment will be available?

This year, we’re excited to present the North Pole Express Christmas show, starring Maple Ridge’s own Damon Calderwood. It’s a heart-warming, family-friendly show that celebrates the magic of Christmas. We offer two free performances during the event — at 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM and 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM.

 Are pets allowed at the fair?

 For the safety and comfort of all visitors, we kindly ask that pets remain at home, unless they are service animals.

How can I volunteer for the craft fair?

At this time, we only accept volunteers from within CLA. If you are a part of the CLA community, we’re always looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help us make the event a success by tackling these tasks:

(5) Parking Coordination

(6) Preparing Gift Baskets

(7) Preparing Food and Coffee

What roles are available for volunteers on the day of the event only?

Volunteers can help with various tasks, including:

Assisting vendors with booth setup

By pre-registering for the event, you’ll be entered into our contest to win some amazing prizes, including:

💵 Market Cash: $100, $75, and $50. Market cash has no actual cash value because it can only be used to shop from vendors at the craft fair.

How does the contest work?

When you pre-register for the event, you’ll be automatically entered into our contest and instantly earn 300 points. You can then accumulate more points by earning the following number of points for the corresponding action:
