It began during the Covid-19 pandemic as a way to support local artisans when other markets were closed, and has grown into a loved community tradition.
Each year, neighbours from Maple Ridge, Pitt Meadows, and nearby cities come together to shop for unique gifts, enjoy special treats, watch a show and simply have a fun day out together.

Organized by volunteers from the City Serve Ministry at Christian Life Assembly, this non-profit event provides a platform for local vendors to showcase their handcrafted goods and for the community to come together in the spirit of the Christmas season.

I’ve never sold at a craft fair before. Can I still apply to be a vendor?
Absolutely! We welcome both seasoned artisans and newcomers. As long as your products are handmade and meet our quality standards, you’re encouraged to apply.
What is the vendor application process like?

Is there a fee to be a vendor?

We do not provide electricity for vendors.

Is the craft fair family-friendly?
Yes! The craft fair is designed to be a fun, family-friendly event. In addition to shopping, we offer free performances of the Gingerbread In The Beginning: A Sweet Creation show and Free gingerbread cookies immediately after the show to make it a festive experience for all ages.
Will there be food and drinks available?
Yes! Attendees of the Gingerbread In The Beginning: A Sweet Creation show can enjoy Free gingerbread cookies immediately after the show immediately after the show.
This year, we will have a pancake breakfast from 9:30AM to 10:30AM priced at $5 per person or $16 per family of 4.
Some vendors may also offer delicious treats like chocolates and baked goods for sale.
Are pets allowed at the fair?
For the safety and comfort of all visitors, we kindly ask that pets remain at home, unless they are service animals.
How can I volunteer for the craft fair?
At this time, we only accept volunteers from within Christian Life Assembly. If you are a part of the CLA community, we’re always looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help us make the event a success by serving in any of these areas:
